i asked because i was gifted an a5 6 ring notebook a few years ago
i used it for some time but i didnt look into refilling it because i didnt know that it was a standard
i realized yesterday that the holes on the pages lined up with 2 of the holes from the triple hole punch. this made me realize that i could transfer pages from the notebook to a standard 3 hole binder
this led me to do some research and i realized that these notebooks come in a variety of sizes and by my hypothesis, the rings should work such that i can put the smaller sheets into rings of the larger size
it even seems possible to use the smaller notebooks as wallets
