I took the train to the park in Portland so I could do some walking there. Unfortunately this evening was the day of the big sports team game in Portland so the train was crowded. A family sat across from me on the train, they had a teenage son and daughter. The son seemed really homosexual, he had jewel earrings in both ears and styled hair dyed with a blue stripe. It was like he was a child prostitute or something, fucked up. He couldn't have been older than 13 or 14.
Later I went downtown in Portland, which was deserted and bombed out as usual, even on a Saturday night. Eventually I found a restaurant that was open and had dinner. Portland is such a sad city with all these vacant storefronts. Be grateful you don't live there!
